I am a sculptor reclaiming stone as a contemporary medium in a world increasingly shaped by industrial and ephemeral materials. Working primarely with marble, alabaster and limestone, I explore the tension between weight and lightness, hardness and softness, transforming rigid material into forms that suggest movement, fluidity and sensitivity.
My practice reconnects contemporary audiences with deep histories of craftsmanship while exploring resilience, power, identity and collective consciousness.
Drawing on classical mythology and painters such as Titian, Rubens and Leighton, I work abstractly with folds, rhythm, texture and gesture, translating the emotional charge of painting into tactile, physical form while building a bridge between the old masters, contemporary art and modern history.
